Transdance & Cacao Ceremony

Updated: Jun 9

It is a triple ceremony that combines three powerful ancestral medicines: dance as a path of union with the whole and free expression of the being; cocoa, an ancestral Mayan medicine that awakens the awareness of feeling and creativity; nature, with its phases and sacred rituals, conducts a great living collective dance of which we are an inseparable part.

Cocoa, native to the Amazon, is a sacred and ancient plant. The ancient civilizations of Central America used its seeds as currency. The drink prepared with the fermented nuts was consumed by the ancient Mayans and Aztecs as medicine for different diseases and used as a way to connect with the true expression of the heart. The ancestral people considered Cacao the drink of the gods because of its many medicinal properties and the well-being it promotes.

The cacao ceremony, conducted by Natashia Moraes and her partner Dieter Engerisser, is a powerful way to go deeper into yourself and discover who you are. Cocoa allows us to illuminate our life path and free ourselves from old patterns and traumas. This medicine enables you to open your heart and make the changes you want with confidence and serenity.

Transdance is an invitation to live life to the fullest and to let go through self-expression through dance movement. Transdance uses creative movements to transform, free ourselves from old habits and reveal our potential.

The dance is the way we can transform stagnant energy into a healthy flow of life force, converting physical and emotional tensions into relaxation and pleasure. In addition, dance enables the recreation of a new reality when performed in the form of prayer.

The ceremony of nature is an additional inspiration to dance our lives. Each event has a special invitation to set in motion the theme that nature leads us through its seasons.

On this journey you will be guided by the music to connect with yourself, releasing the mind from control and allowing simply to be here now the stasis of life. After the Transdance Cacao Ceremony, it is common to have a feeling of pleasure, deep relaxation, and a sense of belonging. It is also possible to release tensions and emotions and heal blocks and insights.

Are you feeling the calling to participate in this sacred ceremony?
